Unrelated, but it does make me wonder how many of the six free in house Covid tests  that people have at home are actually being used.  I would guess it is a relatively small number. Same with the free masks.  Let’s hope we continue to not need them.

Until very recently, the US has been funding covid tests for the uninsured. It would appear that CVS/Walgreens, in practice, hasn't bothered to ask for insurance info from customers and simply billed the government for the testing, treating them as uninsured.

I made an appointment at CVS for April 7 and they asked for insurance info.

You quoted the wrong part of my earlier post. This is what you should have quoted:

I have 8 tests sitting in a closet waiting to expire.

OK, I was planning on doing the same.   Now what if your results from CVS comes back after you have taken Walgreens?  Will you get charged for one test ?  (i know your answer will probably be a guess, but I'm curious.)

i did not get charged by either.

Now the last time I did do both was in Nove when appointments were still getting cancelled a lot or a bid difficult with the lead time.

I will cancel the 2nd one if I get a text from CVS first.
