BNo issues at all.  Feel free to post here.  We have a shared experience.

Have 2 drinks.  You deserve them!

Did they give a reason for the changes?

No, but it’s a nicer cabin. Front of ship, under bridge with huge picture window.

Had the exact lunch, but had watermelon too...lol

OK…on board.  Some observations….

1.  Adhere to your boarding time.  Some tried to board early and were put into a very long line.  Pretty Miserable standing  and waiting to  board in the rain.  Those of us who showed up at the designated time walked right through!

2.  ArriveCAN IS NOT required by Royal.  They didn’t even check my QCR.

3.  They do check vaccination and pre-boarding Negative COVID tests carefully and take pics of both.

Since you boarded in Vancouver you would have to have completed the ArriveCan to arrive in Canada. Because of that there would not be a reason to verify the ArriveCAN before boarding.

Next weeks cruise departing Seattle should require the ArriveCAN be completed and I will be complete it like a good cruiser. 😇

Seriously people, go do the Muster. 400 at 3pm is ridiculous. It’s so easy now.

Just heard that!  We ain’t moving’, and they ain’t drinking’ until they do!

Still, worked up a thirst after bumper cars.  Foo-foo drinks in the Solarium Bar!

Nice idea. How do they let you know you can't drink pre muster?

All announcements state as much.  Bartenders take your sea pass, and if you haven’t completed the muster brief, they re

ind you to do it, and then tell you to come back for a drink after (and yes, I heard a bartender tell a passenger exactly that).

We’re moving!  On time.  That’s a good way to get muster briefing completed!

Luggage arrived and Royal has sent me a bunch of invites so they can hang with me…. 😉

-Top Tier Event

-Diamond Lounge

-4 free drinks/day

-Concierge Service for booking restaurants and excursions

-OBC…seems to be some confusion between what they say they’re giving me and what shows up in my account, though!

Aww seeing these photos is nostalgic, it's been over 2 years since I was onboard Ovation, and 8 months still to wait til she takes me to New Zealand.

Keep these pics coming!

MDR…had late seating.  Forget about it!  Got there 15 mi it’s early.  The line to be seated had literally hundreds (yes, you read that right) waiting.  Not sure what’s happening.  Probably the worst I’ve seen on any cruise, any cruise line, any itinerary.

Ended up at the Windjammer.  No lines.  Good food.

Made new friends where we had cocktails and made lemon aid out of lemons over the dinner situation.

FYI….got a message that Solarium Bistro will be closed for dinner our entire sailing. Still open for breakfast and lunch.

Thanks for the info.  We were considering eating dinner there next week but then decided lunch would be good.  Btw, yesterday we got a letter from RC welcoming us onboard today!  Not sure where to board.  😂

Talk about early boarding!
Enjoy the cruise!
