Do you happen to know if Jamie’s Italian was open for lunch on embarkation day? We have the unlimited dining package for this cruise and Jamie’s is our muster station. It would make sense to have lunch there.

Me and my fiancé did the Ovation out of Seattle the summer before covid and we loved it.  We also arrived one day early to explore Seattle, and enjoyed that too. Not too sure about Seattle now with everything that has happened there. We have done a few Carnival cruises and about 12 Disney cruises and possibly 25 with Royal(our favorite). We are planning our next Casino tier credit cruise and just not sure where we want to go. Don't care to cross the pond with everything that's going on!

 

Visited friends in Seattle last summer……had a wonderful time there!

 

Agree …great city!!!!!

 

People were friendly and the downtown area is beautiful.

Doesn’t look like we will make it  all the up to Dawes Glacier. Lots of ice in the water. Capt. did do some turns in Endicott Arm, and headed out now. It’s a beautiful day out, and temp was 36, when I went to get coffee at about 7am. Supposed to get to Juneau at 1pm.

 

Here is a pic of Dawes Glacier from last Oct.

Yeah…just came in from outside.  Bummer!!!!!

No draft beer at any of the bars I’ve been to.  Haven’t been to all of them (yet), though!

Great use of the balcony cabin.  I throw on sweats and drink coffee on the balcony.

Super excited to see all these pictures! If you happen to be by the spa at all, I'd like to get a picture of the spa menu for this ship! Trying to decide if I should pre-book any of my treatments but not sure if there is a big price difference.

I would have guessed port from the direction of the wake in your picture above.

Loving this so far.  We have our first Alaska cruise in September, so this is getting me pumped.  We'll be on Quantum but will then hop on Ovation to Hawaii.

 

I'm a former neighbor of yours.  Lived in West Chester until a year ago.  Kids went to Lakota East.

WOW…small world.  Looking to downsize…maybe across the river to Covington.  Also, Liberty has become more of a “suburb”

than when I built there 25 years ago.  Don’t need the space anymore.

 

Ovation will be a great ship for a Hawaiian cruise.  
 

Note the accent of the announcements in the elevators….they are all sound Australian….LOL!

Wardrobe has been pretty loosey-goosey!  Saw a couple wearing a tux and gown while waiting in a long line in one of the MDRs the other night.  Strange dress to wait in line!
