OBC added to HIA

I just noticed that a $150 onboard credit has been added to the HIA for my sailing. Price is the same as I paid. An change HAL will add that to my reservation? I am past final payment.

I would call your TA and ask them to ask HAL for it.  Your may or may not get it, but it never hurts to ask (all they can do is say no).  You never know with HAL, but they certainly do not have to offer it if you are past final payment.  Even prior to final payment the deal would depend on what perks you got when booking.  Basically, most times you have to pick either your old package (of perks) or the one now being offered and you cannot pick and chose from both.

I ended up with some extra OBC for our recent cruise. With all the cancelations and rebookings, I didn't question it.

I booked on line so I'd have to call directly. Just wanted to know if there was a chance before I bothered waiting on hold. All perks and the price are exactly the same as when I booked last week except they added the $150 OBC. i'll try calling in the morning and see what happens.

Just called, took 15 mins to get through even though their greeting message said that hold time would be approximately 5 mins.  Took another 5 mins for them to apply the $150.  My booking is before final and same price as what I paid.

mine is after final payment so I'm not really expecting to get it but it doesn't hurt to ask.

I made the call and was able to have the OBC added to my booking.

This is not a casino offer. It is a 3 day sale. Although it may be a Canadian specific offer. I noticed that the other person on this thread that got it added is also from Canada.

Sorry to not be clear.  What I meant was that since I was on a casino offer (free cabin) I was not eligible for the $150 in OBC from this new deal.  I could have gotten it if I was on a casino rate (discounted fare) however.

That makes sense. A free cabin is better than OBC!
