maybe request a more traditional preparation of the dish

Then the cooks can tweek it before you get it

I had the Green curry dish & I think it was meant for someone that requested  it be spicer  or the cooks were Pi** d off

It was so hot spice wise that I could not tell if the tea was hot or cold ..it felt cold to me  but the feel of the cup with my hand was HOT

It took most of the evening to get the feeling back in my mouth

But, did it make you sweat?😉

Other posts/threads have included pics of GDR menus.  These seem to be the same menus as we had had in 2019.  Thought they used the pause to refresh and add new items.  Please prove me wrong.

I agree. I was really disappointed at the lack of new dishes and the lack of variety. Most of the entrees looked very mundane. That's on of the reasons why if we're not dining in a specialty restaurant we prefer the Terrace Cafe to the GDR.

I am late to the game here, but you are asking people what THEIR favorites are ... and they may not be what YOUR favorites are.

My favorites are the big prime rib in Polo, also the shrimp cocktail, several favorites in Jacques ... Or just go to Terrace (or the GDR) and take a daily favorite.

We have not been disappointed over the years.

Mura:  You are correct.  We just got back from our 9 day sojourn.  There was NO BAD FOOD!

In short..."if you were me you would like this"       The foil is  you is you and not me..

Come with an open mind or leave with a broken heart..............

just pick something you like

It will probably be good

Food is subjective  not everyone will like the same thing

I chose a new dish for me at Toscana on 5/2/22. I wish that I had the Toscana menu in front of me to name that dish. Maybe it was the Trio Toscana?

Trio Toscana

Tortelloni di Ricotta e Spinaci, Fettuccine Fresche alla Carbonara and Risotto all’Aragosta

Definitely one of the best meal I have ever eaten.
