Do you ever stay on board during a port you aren't interested in?

We did this one, also wonderful time and highly recommend.  We had "Captain Tony" for our tour, he was fantastic and sooo funny!   One of the restaurants we went to, we started revisiting for lunch when in town.  🙂    https://www.trubahamianfoodtours.com/

We had a young female tour guide (blocking on her name now, but super friendly). We will try one of their others the next time we return. Which one do you return to… the small one near the mansion/hotel or the small hotel restaurant with the parrot maybe?

We love to go to visit Ms. Wallace at Bahamian Cookin'.    She has since moved from original location near the big bank, to a bit closer to the ships.  Great local food!

I often stay onboard unless it's someplace I really want to see. Free food, free drinks if you have a package, relax in the sun up on deck, etc., it's so nice and calm.

yes, unless it is hot out and we go to Junkanoo Beach, we never get off the ship in Nassau.  Nothing there that we care about.  We also will never get off again if we go to Grand Bahamas-it is a dump.

Give Nassau about a year or so.   The plans for the total remake of the waterfront look really nice!  And very expensive!  Someone, or company/companies are throwing a lot a money into that project.

we will probably get off once when the port is done just to check it our, but Nassau really holds no appeal to us.  But will want to see the new waterfront once it is done
