Rare trbarton Posted May 4, 2022 #1 Share Posted May 4, 2022 (edited) I’ve seen these posts about what has happened aboard the Miracle. Sorry to hear that this happened. It makes Carnival look bad although this could happened on any cruise line/ship. Was anyone on this cruise & if so what did you experience? Buckimion Posted May 4, 2022 #2 Share Posted May 4, 2022 Most of that is Valor out of New Orleans. Which one applies to Miracle? 🤨
cruisingguy007 Posted May 4, 2022 #3 Share Posted May 4, 2022 Wow, never going on Valor lol. Sheesh. Wife showed me a bookface video of a fight on Panorama in the MDR too. What the heck is going on with people? Some folks just can't behave. Embarrassing for Carnival. Hope they start banning folks who are more trouble than they are worth, particularly the fighting chaos causing people. Pulling the race card isn't an excuse either. Just gives more fuel for the "ghetto cruise line" claims that are falsely made about Carnival by some. Nuts. 1
Joe817 Posted May 4, 2022 #4 Share Posted May 4, 2022 Wow indeed! I cannot make any comment as I fully don't understand what happened. Sounds like a mess!

Sad that anything like this happens on any cruise line. Tom
pc_load_letter Posted May 4, 2022 #6 Share Posted May 4, 2022 I think alot of this should be taken with a grain of salt. From what I understand, all passengers boarding are run through NCIC and anyone with active warrants can be removed from the ship. It depends on the state and if they are willing to front the expense of transportation etc. The latest I saw was three arrested. The death was a young child who had a seizure and sadly passed away. Mom was very upset to the point of it "looking" like an out of control, confrontational woman. There was some raising of voices during debarkation but it was some old ladies. No fisticuffs, lol. Yes, weed was found on board but is that really a surprise. I smelled weed on the Miracle last month. The delay in debarkation was due to the CBP slow to arrive. Rare Wanna_Cruize Posted May 4, 2022 #7 Share Posted May 4, 2022 We experienced this on our last Radiance cruise. We were waiting in the lobby with the other Diamonds waiting to be the first to disembark. The 7:15 time came and went, with no movement yet, as we hadn't been cleared yet. Then 4-5 Customs Officers showed up at the gangway, full tactical vests, etc. and spoke to the officer at the door. I noticed they had a female officer with them, wearing gloves. Eventually they all went off down the hall, and I told my hubby that we weren't going to be able to get off until whoever they went to get was escorted off first. After about another 15 minutes or so, the officers all came back with a female passenger (without any luggage) with them (not in handcuffs). Sometime afterwards, we were finally able to disembark. So, she must have set off some flag in the system, and no one was allowed off until she was located and escorted off.

The protagonist is wearing basketball shorts and a baseball cap so we can be certain this was not on one of Panorama's Elegant Nights 😉

Hardly Carnival's fault.

Always dress for the occasion, probably should of rocked a wife beater, sagged the shorts and made sure the underwear were clearly visible for everyone; would have been a nice touch to add to the ambiance and special occasion of carnal violence. Dress to impress! 😁 Edited May 4, 2022 by cruisingguy007
Buckimion Posted May 4, 2022 #11 Share Posted May 4, 2022 I sailed on Valor just a couple of years ago pre-covid, and most of it wasn't too bad except for embarkation day. People were hanging on to their luggage and space on Lido was at a premium. Chogs squared.

The video looks like any elegant night sailing from Long Beach these days and I've sailed Panorama 56 days non-consecutively since October.
