Could anyone that has stayed at this hotel tell me if the rooms have individual safes in them AND does the hotel have a laundry room for guests to use? Thank you and happy sailing.

Look up their phone number, give them a quick call and ask them.  Simple.

Yes, that is simple …. unless the phone rings and rings and no one answers! And……simple questions like this on this board often come with replies containing more details and comments that are always interesting.

The Deluxe Queen rooms at Hotel Riu Plaza Fisherman’s Wharf offer a full range of services to make your stay unforgettable. All of them have a queen-size bed (150x200 cm), satellite TV, a coffee machine, a mini-fridge and a safe.

Yes the Hotel Riu Plaza has safes in the room, don't think they have a guest laundry. It is also about the last hotel I'd choose at Fisherman's Wharf, there are a dozen ones better.

Also, unless you really want to irritate locals in San Francisco, don't use "San Fran". That irritates them to no end, along with "Frisco" and "Cali".

That is true!  It's like fingernails on the chalkboard!

What are a few of the "dozen better ones" at Fisherman's Wharf?

Ones to price out are the Courtyard by Marriott, Marriott Fisherman's Wharf, Holiday Inn Express, Columbus Motor Inn, Hyatt Centric, Hotel Zoe and Holiday Inn Fisherman's Wharf.

The best, if price isn't an issue are the Hotel Argonaut, Hotel Zephyr, The Fairmont and Kimpton Alton.
