We booked with RC.  It was the same trip but had a Salmon bake at the end.  When we rebooked Mendenhall Glacier was left off.

Thanks!  I really hope they don't cancel ours, I'm looking forward to the glacier more than the whale watching.  (Figure we'll probably see whales at some point regardless.)

I am so thankful we are not flying out today.  A passenger on the shared that her flight was canceled.   She said all flights to Denver were canceled.   I would hate to deal with canceled flights again.   We will see how Sunday goes.

If I understand correctly there is only 1 SW flight a day back to our place.  Hope we get out ok Sunday.

Here's to good weather and a great flight on Sunday!  See?  I'm being very positive for you guys!  Great job on your review, and awesome pictures, John!  Thank you again!

I see a lot of people wearing masks in the restaurant...is it mandatory in Seattle?

There were more than usual.   From what I am learning Seattle is just easing.  Mask signs have been replaced with Highly Recommended.  There was a requirement at the tower that I have never seen before.  Going up in tower the Elevator Operator said that since we are not required to wear mask and there are many in the elevator,  he points to a sign, there will be no talking to help us stay safe.   🤔

On the way down the elevator operator closed the door, said going down and ask us how we enjoyed it!  🤭  we all enjoyed sharing are fun visit!

We just got off the bummer cars and made it down to the Solarium.   We got to meet the vlogger that has been mentioned here. He is such a nice guy.  Enjoyed talking with him.  Maybe he will stop by here and share.

Here is his video from Juneau.

Following along as well. We are on May 27.  Can’t wait to hear about your journey!

We’ll be on that cruise too.  Quite a few of us from Hawaii celebrating my husband’s sister’s 80th birthday.  My hubby and I will be easy to spot. I’m in a scooter and my hubby is missing his left arm.

I hope you can bear with me. (sounds like something they would say in Alaska 🤣).
If you have ever been to Chihuly you will understand why am going to post what some may think are way to many pics.  The glass work is beautiful. I can say Chihuly will be a must stop again when I return.
If you have been to the Atlantis Casino on Paradise Island you will remember seeing the Dale Chihuly glass work. Here is a taste.  The meal is coming.

We’re sailing on the Ovation May 27 and received our sailing checklist.  It showed access to the Diamond Lounge Happy Hour 5 pm to 8 pm. Not interested in Happy Hour.  Do you know if the Diamond Lounge is accessible at other times?

We sail on this itinerary on the 27th!  Third Alaska cruise, first cruise on the Ovation.  Can not wait.  I will look forward to your reviews in anticipation of our trip!

We’ll also be on that cruise.  Second cruise to Alaska; first on the Ovation.

I did not go to the longe.  I use the vouchers elsewhere but I believe it was open in the mornings for a Continental breakfast. It's right between Music Hall and the theater.

Thank you.  That’s what I was interested in.  Also, there are times when I enjoy going there to just relax and read or play sudoku.

Loved your video.  You’d be great doing videos for a living.

If you are referring to video you quoted, that is not from Ozark_Kid. That is from the vlogger Shiplife, that was on his cruise. He posts lots of YouTube videos.

We walked around town and dropped in shops.  At one store it was suggested we eat at Skagway Brewing Co.

We ordered the recommended fish and chips just for the Halibut.

It was the best fish and chips we have ever eaten and all agreed we will order it again when we return to Skagway.  This is a must.  If you don't like fish, the burgers are great too!  Don't skip this place.  I will be watching for you future Alaska cruisers coming back to CC and thanking me.  I bet it will happen. Soooooo good.

Any word on reindeer hot dog?   I think I would have to try.
