Koningsdam on Mighty Cruise Ships

Recently got off the Koningsdam. I appreciate the modern tech on the ship, particularly the 180 degree wall show in the World Stage. However, I still prefer the interior elegance of the just retired Rotterdam. ☹️

Just turned on the TV and the Koningsdam is on the Smithsonian channel right now.  They just did the hairpin turns on the bus and I panicked.  😂

I watched that show too! Not enough about the inside of the ship, but I do enjoy watching those shows. The show following was a Viking longship on a river cruise, and that was really interesting.

I am looking forward to the new season!  Hopefully it won’t take too long to air in the US.  The Viking longship was interesting as I am getting ready to go on my first river cruise soon (Avalon).  Didn’t watch it this time because it was time for the 5 o’clock news.  🗞

The new Season 4 of "Mighty Cruise Ships" in the US starts July 10 on Smithsonian. It is eight new episodes, including the Niew Statendam.

Are they doing the nieuw statendam again?  It was on a couple years ago in Canada.  If I remember correctly they were in the Caribbean.

The program is released to the US much later than Canada and the UK.  Apparently two years later!  😂 I remember watching the Koningsdam in Canada and waiting forever for it to air in the US so my husband could see it.

Yes, I agree. I am not sure what the logic is in delaying the broadcasts that long.
