Has Infinity been refurbished?

Has the Infinity been refurbished? The only reviews I can find are about 2 years old and it seems like the cabins needed updating.

You can check some sites to confirm this, but I believe this was the ship kept off shore near the Celebrity Pier in Ft Lauderdale to place sick crew on.  If it's the same ship, in April it was just sitting in the distance during sail away.  In any event, there's nicer ships.

Revolutionized? No

Last refurb was a few years before covid.   Having sailed on the revolutionized Summit and non-revolutionized Infinity within a few months of each other pre-Covid, I have no hesitation about going back on the Infinity.

After seeing Summit post revolutionizing, we liked it better before.  Infinity has had steady cosmetic refurbishment.   The pace of  maintenance actually increased with just crew on board.

Would gladly sail on Infinity today.

Infinity was refurbished in January 2022 as per celebrity website. It has not been revolutionized however. Until it has first passengers on board  at end of June we really won’t know what was done.

And how does anyone know what was done?  How does anyone know the skeleton crew had the time to work on any upgrades?  Or that Celebrity was making any investment in these ships?

She was last dry docked last in Cadiz February 2021 for essential hull maintenance and painting

Maybe that should tell you something about the long term future of the Infinity with Celebrity and the likelihood that Celebrity would spend much to refurbish the ship.

Nothing has been done to Infinity. We last sailed on Infinity shortly before shut down. It was in great need of an update. The cabins needed new curtains, carpet, etc. the rest of the ship was nice,  but tired

According to some web sources, the Celebrity Infinity was last refurbished in January 2022 at Navantia shipyard in Cadiz, Spain. The refurbishment included new valves, hull improvement, renewal of propellers and stabilizers, and new painting. However, the ship has not been revolutionized, which is a more extensive makeover that involves upgrading the cabins, suites, and public areas. The revolutionization of the Celebrity Infinity was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and is now scheduled for winter 2024. I hope this answers your question.

Infinity is sailing regularly right through 2024 on Eastern Med. cruises, so I do not see a space for reurbishment anytime soon.
