Vancouver Royal Caribbean & The Key

  I read something elsewhere about Royal Caribbean & The Key when sailing out of Vancouver not getting early embarkation.  Just confirming this and what exactly it's about.  I'm sailing out of Vancouver to Hawaii on Ovation of the Seas in a junior suite.  What are my options for getting on as quickly as possible.  Does a junior suite get you in earlier anyway?   Thanks.

Yes, use the suites lane.

Vancouver was a free for all. There's a suites lane but once you get to that point you're lumped in with gen pop to actually board the ship

The issue in Vancouver is the security process and the following US CBP queues are common for all cruise lines departing that day.  Only after CBP are guests split up and sent to their respective cruise line.  

 

No cruise line can implement a priority queue until you are past the common security/CBP areas.  Not for suites or pinnacle or the key.

It also feels like about a 5 mile walk from the time you enter the terminal to the time you step on board.
