 The two big production shows that they do on board is rock opera and five skies

Whatever the times are this week, they could be the same, earlier or later on a future cruise.

This cruise they are 8.15 and 10.15. On board now. 

Before boarding everyone was guessing and no one got it right. 

Only take it as red when you get on board as they could be totally different. 

Yes 2 big shows are 5 skies and rock opera.

Rock Opera is good if you like The Greatest showman. Seen it a few times now but will probably give it is miss on our next cruise.

The newer types of modern production shows are just not for me. Most people did enjoy the show but I still prefer the older style shows.

Guess I'm just stuck in my traditional ways.

Sorry MissP22;  I have not heard of either show you mention.  Do these shows have music from the 60's and 70's or more current music?  Thanks.

Mostly from older tunes. 

The new shows are just a bit to loud and flashy for my taste. 

Most others did enjoy them.

That's cool- each to their own. I know a lot of tunes from 5 skies which is why I like it - they're from my prime. They are edgier and flashier and I did wonder if it appealed to the more traditional cruise audience...

Unless Princess changes their style of production shows, like they've been doing, they won't be able to attract the newer generation of cruisers to sail.

I've seen a few clips of different production shows on other cruise lines & they're nothing like the older Princess shows, so it's obvious they realize this and have begun to transform to the newer style.

MissP22;  I know hear you and understand that in order to appeal to the younger crowd the shows have to have more edgy materiel.  I get that.

We are on the Enchanted Princess on 5 August.

Have been looking through the timeliness of events and so far can see no sign of 5 Skies being on at all, have found Rock Opera on day 6 or 7 (can't remember the exact day at the moment)
