How long before the cruise does the cruise info show up on the app

My cruise is not until Oct 24, everything is in my app as far as tours, sp dinner res and I made res for a couple of the MDR's too and all are in the app already.  It also says I can check-in 90 days before the cruise, which is not accrate, as it also says check back, we'll let you know when we are ready, we're getting everything ready for you.  I was not trying to check-in but I just noticed it there when I was playing around with the app to familiarize myself.  Certainy not a big deal to me at all, I am low key and will check-in whenever, I assume they will send an email letting me know.

It definitely depends on the ship. I didn't get most of the info for our Summit cruise back in May until the day before embarking(and had issues accessing anything during the whole cruise), and everything for our upcoming Beyond cruise appeared almost immediately.

I even have the room control buttons for the stateroom and key, I wonder if I can turn the ligths off/on and open/close the curtains on the guest in there now...

That could be fun.   But you have to be aboard the ship in order for them to work.   Out of curiosity I tried that even from the terminal before boarding.

I've seen it 4-5 months prior to the cruise but found it was just the stock information for the repetitive cruises.  About 2 cruises out it finally starts populating with information you can trust.  Our 8/7 cruise just updated to what we think is information last week.

Suddenly our stop in Bermuda on a Greenland/Iceland cruise disappeared.

Indeed!  I am not very techie (my husband asks why I even have an iPhone) but I figure if I play around with the app for a couple months before the cruise, perhaps ??? I will be good to go once on-board.  🙂

We are also on the Edge TA departing 24 Oct and at one time the App stated Check In opened on 8 Sep, 45 days prior. Now it doesnt show that info. But I have it on my calendar.

@LGW59 is right, it has my tours I signed up for and ship calendar stuff.

Used the App on our recent Solstice Alaska cruise and it was handy. Earlier, posters were complaining that it didnt notify you if someone texted you on the App, but it worked on Solstice. I went to the iPhone Settings and Notifications and turned it on for the Celebrity App. It doesnt beep or vibrate but a pop up shows up on the screen.

I just wish we could add our own items to the App Calendar such as meeting friends and so on. Have to use the Celebrity App And the iPhone Calendar to keep stuff updated. But the Celebrity App is handy.

My grandson & wife are joining us on a Carib cruise.

We all have the pkg that includes Wifi.

They have a business and probably will need to keep in touch often during the cruise by phone/text.

Will they be able to do that?  I turn my phone off when I get on board so have no idea how it works.

Should they sign up with their carrier to be able to make calls from various ports?

Can they do it from the ship?

Appreciate any info you can give me.

Thanks.
