jchris50 Posted August 4, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 4, 2022 We just booked the Constellation sailing Dec 2 for the Eastern Caribbean out of Tampa. I have a couple questions. #1. What are the requirements for boarding. Eg Covid test? Proof of vaccination? Also wondering what amenities are currently in the bathrooms as far as shampoo, conditioner, soaps? Thanks so much Janet
jelayne Posted August 4, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 4, 2022 If you go to Celebrity’s home page you will find a dark blue banner across the top of the page. This links you to the latest info on protocols. Any answer you get today could change by tomorrow. There is shampoo, conditioner and body wash in all cabins.
Rare Jim_Iain Posted August 4, 2022 #3 Share Posted August 4, 2022 (edited) Agree with jelayne check out the website. You didn't give one piece of critical information - how many days is your cruise. Celebrity recently announced that cruises LESS THAN 6 DAYS (Meaning 5 days or less) will not require a pre-cruise covid test. Also while that is the protocol for today things will probably change before your cruise. Would really recommend you join the Roll Call for your cruise. You will be able to discuss your specific cruise with fellow passengers and will find them helpful in answering any of your questions. Homosassa Posted August 7, 2022 #5 Share Posted August 7, 2022 Just a heads up: Be prepared to find out at the pier that your deck two cabin has been taken for quarantine purposes and that you have been reassigned. Your reassignment may be an acceptable cabin that is equivalent or a slight upgrade from your booked cabin or it may be completely unacceptable in terms of location/size. Nothing you can do about the former, stand your ground and nicely insist on an equivalent cabin in the latter case.

deliver42 Posted August 7, 2022 #7 Share Posted August 7, 2022 Forget whatever the protocols are now. They will change big time between now and then.

On my Constellation cruise in February, it was only the Deck two port side amidship cabins that were taken for quarantine purposes. We received a balcony cabin amidship on deck six (we don't like balcony cabins, but the cabin was okay). On the Millennium at the end of June, all of deck two was taken for quarantine cabins. The cabin we were assigned was an interior (what we had booked) all the way forward on Deck 8 (high and forward). The cabin was was tiny, tiny, tiny and was obviously designed at the time the ship was built for single occupancy for either bridge crew or other staff. That is the one that we let Guest Relations know was not acceptable and was not equivalent in size or remotely in the same location as what we booked. We did receive a large interior amidship cabin on Deck 3.
