Some info for today - ship info, the Compass, main dining room menu for breakfast, our door sign and the ducks we are going to hide.

Nice you found 3, very cute

Bringing some for my next cruise, and

These are three I’m hiding today that I brought on board. I’ve managed to find four others while hiding my ducks this cruise.

Just a FYI - reservations are needed for shows, even if you have a suite, regardless of what the suite info sheet says. The staff were very accommodating in getting me into Oceanaria however since I was going solo. I then booked the rest of my entertainment. It was easy to book through the app with multiple times to choose from for all shows.

As a matter of perspective, went to the show last night as a suite guest without reservations and were let right in.  At 25 minutes before the show we got almost the last seats in the reserved section.

Interesting! I got there about the same time and I think I got the last seat in the reserved section. Maybe it’s all a matter of who scans your card and how familiar they are with the protocols.

Info sheet for B2B cruisers. No mention of needing to do another covid test for the second leg. Fingers crossed we won’t have to do one.

It  does mention waiting for your wellness screening results.  I wonder if that is a temperature check? I  was also under the impression that they no longer were doing Covid testing between cruises. I will be eager to see what happens. It would seem odd in lei of todays announcement of discontinuing Covid test for 9 and less night cruises.

I’m hoping it is just a temp check. I’ll be sure to post the process as I go through it.

Lucky for us the starboard side of the ship is facing the port so I could grab a few shots. Docked by 8 am. Captain says we should be able to get off the ship by 8:30. Taxis and tour buses are right next to the gangway waiting for passengers to disembark. Looks like it’s not to far of a walk to the port exit for those not on a tour.

GOOD LORD!! With space being at such a premium on a cruise ship, where on earth do they store these things???

Walked to the port entrance with one of the kids who wanted some new shirts. Took about 5 minutes to get there and there are lots of shops right there on the pier. Also lots of locals offering tours right at the gate. Only needed Seapass to get on and off. Didn’t need to show ID or wear masks.
