Not sure I understand being on a cruise and not wanting a water view.  Isn’t that kinda the point?

To me its like watching paint dry , the view never changes .

Although i always book ocean view balcony cabins . Go figure .😂

Disagree!  The gentle wave view is constantly moving /changing and very relaxing.

One of my favourite views.  A big part of why I like to cruise.  🙂

It's why we get a JS always.  We like to sit outside on the balcony and hear the water as well as see it without having to lean over or turn around.

We’ll be on the Radiance for a northbound Alaska cruise next Friday.  How’s their dining room?  Is it worth getting a seat by the table for 5:30 dinner?  It should definitely still be light outside.

Absolutely!!  Northbound I would request Starboard.

Ditto!  We always have a balcony and spend time on it relaxing and watching the waves.  It's soothing and calming, and if it's stormy, it's exciting.

I've never splurged for anything higher than a normal balcony cabin, but I agree.  Sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine is my happy place.
