Alaska Lily Posted August 20, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 20, 2022 We are set to sail on Equinox tomorrow. We took Covid tests yesterday morning at CVS. Said results 1-2 days. Received a text at 1:15 today that read Your test is at the lab and we will have our results soon (1-2 days). We tested at CVS prior to our March cruise (2 day) and had no issue. I'm hopeful it may still come in time but could someone tell me what the procedure is if it does not. I'm sure this has been addressed before but I couldn't find it. Thanks for any info. RichYak Posted August 20, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 20, 2022 You need to find someplace to take a rapid test right now or in the morning.
Rare cruisestitch Posted August 20, 2022 #3 Share Posted August 20, 2022 Yes you need a backup plan or you won’t be cruising
kathynorth Posted August 20, 2022 #4 Share Posted August 20, 2022 Backup plan, use government distributed test with an online monitor who will send you results in 15 mins. Some on these boards have been using onpoint
39august Posted August 20, 2022 #5 Share Posted August 20, 2022 Get a rapid antigen test ASAP or you will be denied boarding. These tests give results in about 15 minutes. I would think a walk in clinic would be able to do this.
AnnaNicole Posted August 20, 2022 #6 Share Posted August 20, 2022 Is it allowable to test on the day of the cruise? I believe Celebrity's website said for sailings on Saturday, you can test on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.

Some on these boards have been using onpoint Good to know government distributed tests can be used with the online company. I ordered some last week and received them today. Onpoint is 24/7 and you and your husband can do testing at the same time but you pay $16.99 each for two appointments done together. You can use any test. I just checked. Here is the scheduling link. https://calendly.com/d/djz-wdy-45f/virtual-testing-covid-otc-bring-your-own-kit?month=2022-08&date=2022-08-20 Edited August 20, 2022 by AnnaNicole Added scheduling link 1

Alaska Lily Posted August 21, 2022 Author #10 Share Posted August 21, 2022 As I mentioned in my OP...I was concerned that we had not gotten our test results back. They did come this morning but prior to that I called Celebrity and was told that if we got to the port and could prove that we had the test in a reasonable amount of time and did not have results that they could provide us a test. I had also located an urgent care (affiliated with a local hospital) that could provide test results within 30 min. Thanks again for the help!
