I got a notification from Delta when i was in Louisville last week to be there 3 hours prior to my flight to check in and so i did.  Woulda been nice if they had sent the same notice to the check in agents.....they didnt arrive until an hour after me.

Horseshoe Bay is my favorite beach of all time.  Looks beautiful today.

I did that for about an hour. Then I wanted to look for some food and drink.

I didn’t see a beach bar or any servers so I headed up to the bar I saw when I first walked in.

This is bad. No servers. Just a mess of people.

and everyone is ordering multiple frozen drinks. I stood in this line for 45 minute and still didn’t make it to the front.

 

 

When this guy stuck his half his arm in that blender and swirled the ice around, I knew the pina colada was out.

 

 

The only non-American beer was Carib and the last two sold before I got to the front. I it probably would’ve been an hour wait total had I stayed. I’m not sticking around to drink a bud light. I’ll head back to the port.

Another $7 ride back. They really packed it in. 25 people in the little shuttle bus. They used the fold down seats in the aisle and everything. Glad I got a comfortable seat by the window.

There were very few people in the water in Horseshoe Bay when we were there a few years ago.  
 

 

There were Man of War warnings posted.  One of the lifeguards went in and scooped one up.
