Bermuda Travel Authorization Question

I am cruising on the 2nd of September which is in a week.

 

I have applied and paid for the Bermuda Travel Authorization back on August 11th.  I am just wondering when they will send the email on whether it has been accepted or denied.  

Everything else is done except for this Travel Authorization to come back from Bermuda.

We did not receive our Authorization until the week before sailing.  I believe others had the same experience so don't panic yet.

They should have sent you an email saying they received your application.  Just "reply" to that email asking the status of your Bermuda Travel Authorization.  You should get your approval the next day.  It worked for me.

I sent an e-mail asking about mine yesterday and received it today.

30 days as noted, but I'd wait as long as possible ( maybe 3 weeks prior to the cruise)  in case the Bermuda Gov't makes a change.  At this point not likely as  the $40 pp is gladly accepted.

 

If I recall - we applied about 3 weeks out with no issues.

They are deadly serious about this $40 fee.  They are charging EVERYONE, even their own citizens.  If a Bermudian flies to (for example) NYC for a vacation, that Bermudian has to pay $40 to return home.  😮
