BND Posted September 2, 2022 #3 Share Posted September 2, 2022 I mean, who doesn't know that casinos have cameras everywhere? Plus the ships have them in public spaces all over.
Plum Happy Posted September 2, 2022 #4 Share Posted September 2, 2022 You have to be pretty dumb to think that no one is watching. Eyes in the skies are everywhere on the ships.

Rare OCSC Mike Posted September 2, 2022 #6 Share Posted September 2, 2022 Not that I'm condoning anyone cheat in any way, but the manner in which they tried to cheat is beyond hilariously stupid.
kw1816 Posted September 2, 2022 #7 Share Posted September 2, 2022 Many (many!) years ago while working for Carnival we caught someone using a Monkey paw on the slots - they knew they’d been rumbled and ran up to the open decks and threw the device overboard. Not a lot we could do without the evidence but after calling the shoreside office, I understand their disembarkment was ‘uncomfortable’ and they spent some time with customs. These were the days of Griffin investigations and they were banned from all the major cruise lines who shared information.

Nice. That brings back memories. I learned how to count when I was 21 (in the late 90's) and used to play for low stakes just for fun. So technically a Light wand I guess. https://www.gamblingsites.org/biographies/tommy-glenn-carmichael/
neverbeenhere Posted September 2, 2022 #12 Share Posted September 2, 2022 Many years ago, the staff was poorly trained on the craps payouts, so they consistently paid incorrect amounts. Not many mentioned the incorrect payouts to the good. That lasted for a year or so, then the training got better.

One could argue they chose to simply lower the odds to agree with the less-than-favorable payouts lol.
