I did submit my application to the provided RCL email address (the end of July I think) for our recent August cruise. I received an acknowledgement that my application had been received (one of those automatic type replies) but no confirmation that yes, I would see my onboard credit in my account. (I looked for it when I boarded and indeed found it.) The same scenario with my application for our 5 day cruise last September. However, did you book your cruise directly through Celebrity or RCCL? We travel only on Celebrity but we book through a travel agent (Costco), so we received no new invoices. Maybe these factors make the difference? Since this is an RCI board, one must assume that the replies posted refer only to the RCI process. While under the RCG umbrella, Celebrity could handle things slightly differently. How you booked should not matter.

Respectfully, this is a RCL shareholders benefit thread which I got to via Celebrity. Celebrity is part of RCCL and this is probably useful to those who got to this thread via Celebrity to learn that there are difference processes. No, it’s a thread in the RCI section of CC and it does not matter how you got here. Again, while under the RCG umbrella, Celebrity does some things differently than RCI and coming here and posting Celebrity info may just confuse the RCI posters expecting RCI related info. If there’s not a shareholder thread in the Celebrity section of CC, you can crate one and discuss Celebrity specific info there. drb116 Posted September 7, 2022 #37 Share Posted September 7, 2022 The easiest way is to just fill in this form online. It works especially well if you have multiple cruises or multiple rooms. (Note: for multiple rooms, you need to have more than 100 shares). https://rclshareholderbenefit.questionpro.com/

They are not "comped" cruises, but I am definitely using casino discount codes as they were both booked through club royale. i did e-mail my request and proof of ownership to shareholderbenefit@rccl.com. I just submitted the request for SH OBC first. After that was done, I added the casino discounts. 😄 😄 😄

Do I send in my ‘Cruise Confirmation’ which lists line items for cruise fare, port charges, taxes, pre-paid gratuities, etc (including the OBC)? I don’t understand where you subtract and ‘add’ the casino discounts? I’m new at this. Thanks!

volk904 Posted September 8, 2022 #44 Share Posted September 8, 2022 Some of you might say it is not a good value right now but in the $40's it is still over $45 per share less than what it was most on this spring. I purchased $100 at $31 and have made a nice profit but really i am looking forward to using my first credit in November.

Tip: you won't be advised that the credit will be added to your account after you submit your application; you will just see it when you check your account after boarding. It can be used for whatever you want to spend it on. Once the boss has checked the price of her favourite perfume which is often much cheaper than anywhere else we invest the rest in the casino.
cruising twosome Posted September 8, 2022 #46 Share Posted September 8, 2022 My financial advisor and I were talking at my annual check up and knows we like to cruise. It was his suggestion to buy the 100 shares through my retirement account, which we did. Once that paper work came to me I submitted it and within days got an email telling me my $100 OBC was in my account for our cruise later this month
