Inveterate Cruiser Posted September 17, 2022 #1 Share Posted September 17, 2022 Hi everyone! When getting rated by the pit boss at the roulette tables, does the pit boss look at what you bet or just the size of your bets ie does it make a difference if you bet $50 on red/black vs $25 each on Red AND Black? Rare crusinthrough Posted September 17, 2022 #2 Share Posted September 17, 2022 I cannot say for sure but I think it's the size of the bet. As in how many chips are on the table.

If you are talking about using promotional chips you can't use them on the "outside" i.e. Red/Black, Odds/Evens etc.

I am constantly amazed when the single zero table and double zero tables are both open how many more people are sitting at the double zero table. Single zero is one of the best bets in the casino as opposed to double zero which is the worst.

marieps Posted September 17, 2022 #14 Share Posted September 17, 2022 I believe you will be rated based on what you risk at play, not what you bet. Meaning cashing in $200 at the start of your session gets you higher rating than $100. How much time you spend may be a factor too. The pit boss always takes my card and inputs data knowing what I cashed in, but never watches how much I bet. Please correct or clarify if I'm mistaken. Rare NutsAboutGolf Posted September 17, 2022 #16 Share Posted September 17, 2022 If you can get them to open no-commission Baccarat, usually you can if you and your significant other will offer to play at $100/hand, that will be your best odds. You bet on the Banker and another person the Player. If you tie you push, if the banker wins with a 6 you only get paid half/1:2 but since you don't pay commission on banker wins, the odds are nearly identical as commission/midi/mini versions.

I’m not looking to win money from the casino - I’m looking to make it back from the comps (cruises/drinks) I get from the play…….

I used OBC to buy chips(if you consider those promotional) then bet either red/black, even/0dd or 1-18/19-36. All required a $5 minimum bet. Ha, the first time I've ever won in a casino. I started with about $1200, and walked out with $1400.

Table games in general won't get you the points. It's all about the slots. It's the same in land based casinos.

When you step up to the table give your card to the pit boss and for the next 3 spins bet bigger. The pit boss will then enter into the computer your average bet per spin. Then you can lower your bet. Subsequently whenever you see the pit boss checking the roulette table you raise you bet.

If the roulette table has players only betting the minimums but in his pit area of responsibility you have another table with folks betting hundreds a hand, pitboss may only offer your table an occasional glance

But don't expect to accumulate alot of points and move up tiers in the BCC. If that's your gambling style you're better off on Carnival. Their casino program doesn't have transparent player tiers and their comped cruises are easier to come by. Or you should go to the 3rd party Cruise Casino hosting company URcomped.com and work with them on getting comped cruises based on your style of gambling. Yeah I’m already getting a free Celebrity cruise through URComped. Just trying to figure out the most effective way to continue getting comps / cruises through URComped and also the cruise lines.
