Points on recent solo cruise sales

Did any solo cruisers get double points off a recent sailing from the solo cruise sale? I just checked my balance from a cruise last week, and its only showing up as 1x point, and it was a cruise with no solo supplement.

 

Just curious what everyone’s experience has been.

I believe if there was no solo supplement (payed for 1 passenger) you don't get 2x points.   If there is any supplement at all you will get the 2x points.

Recently back from Alaska cruise with single rate from a sale… three of us had solo cabins and all got double points. One had to call to get them, but that’s not out of the ordinary. No issues when calling… points posted within a few days.

Every cruise that I have done in the past year hasn't posted the 2x points (even when 2x the fare).  It has taken months and months to sort out with huge call wait times (US) and incompetent staff not filling in forms correctly.  I've had to call on average 3 times to get the points added correctly. So, don't hold your breath!

Future cruise sales staff and Captains Club staff have all told me that the special single rate cruise gives double points. If you only got single points, definitely call Captains Club.

I called the Captains Club line this morning as same issue for me. They answered right away - not even 15 seconds on hold.  However, she said that in order for the double points to go through, it has to be approved and processed by 'Loyalty' - how that is different from 'Captains Club' I have no idea - so she is sending an email to Loyalty to approve and process, which takes one to two weeks. We'll see what happens next!

I was surprised that I got triple points on my last cruise without having to call and e-mail multiple times. (There was a 3x promo earlier this year.)
