Pricing Discovery Princess for 1 person obstructed balcony past passenger with premium package $1135

Price for 2 people same cabin $2318, why isn't it $2270? any ideas?

As long as they're not charging you MORE, I wouldn't worry.

Port charges for only one...  These are per passenger, not per cabin.

in addition to the port taxes, they probably aren't charging you the plus part for 2 people if there is only one of you...so one person in the cabin might be the cost of one with plus & one without as you don't pay double gratuities or get double wifi

We need details.  Is this the base fare.  is the a base fare?  Total fare?  Includes the package?   Includes the port charges?

 

Are they not charging double, the singles supplement?

 

Again, the port charges, and the extra package, are per person, and will not be charged, even when a single supplement is charged.

total fare including port charges, taxes and the package. Also as a single I would get $200 OBC and that doesn't change if a second person is added, we would still get $200 OBC. very confusing

Because these days a lot of cruises are cheaper as a solo cruiser, for example you can pay a base fare of $500 a cabin.  If you have two cruisers that same cabin, they could pay a base fare of $700 each. Two cruisers in a cabin doesn't necessarily mean they pay a the same or lower fare than a solo cruiser.  Been this way on a lot of cruises since October 2021.

is the cruise right away? we got a last-minute deal on the Majestic in Jan where it was cheaper to get two balconies with 1 person in each than to share one.

Exactly, you also get 2 cruise credits, and if you're a shareholder, and hold 100 shares, your own OBC.  It's been this way for over a year now.

Crown repo in November has been this way for past 3 months

There have been a number of fall 2022 departures that are waiving the single supplement.   This may well be one of those sailings

That is exactly what we did, gets double cruise points too if you need them…..

okay new idea, if we book cabins next door the each other (not adjoining ) on E deck (obstructed) can we open the balcony up?
