loft 19 coabanas?

I got an pop up to that the Cabanas on our spring break  April 1(Mardis Gras) sailing were on sale.  I am not booked in an Excell suite but was hoping/planning on booking a cabana for the week.  It looks like they are all sold out?  I honestly did not think the Excell guests would pay the premium since they already have access. I am curious if anyone in a suite sees the same thing?  Are they really selling out?

I got a great casino rate for 8 day Celebration 12/19. Free cabin for 2 and cheap third guest fare. I plan to book a Cabana, if available, the sale price will just be icing on the cake.

I didn’t think they were offering any sales until the last minute?

I’m pretty confused. I really was hoping to get one as well. I did read that this sale was for the Celebration transatlantic but I’d be interested if others are seeing it sold out for their sailing as well? Someone in my Facebook group, staying in Excel suites in November and March says it says sold out on both her sailings? Personally I’d pay full price so hopefully some still available and it is just a glitch?

I just looked through 5 pages of excursions listed for Celebration on 12/19 and do not see Loft 19 Cabanas listed. Since Excel suites have priority for booking cabanas, I don’t think they release them to other guests until 2-3 weeks of the cruise?

The lady in my Facebook group called carnival fun shops and they are indeed sold out fir her sailings on Celebration. She is upset because she hadn’t even seen it pop up as available to book yet until the sale yesterday. She is an excel suite guest who has booked the cabanas before. It was just a pop up window on the screen about the sale. Not listed in excursions.

I am not happy. There are 5 excell suites available on my sailing. Unfortunately, these suites don’t come with my casino offer. I would pay 4000 more, lose drinks everywhere and 500 Funplay? The problem is the only way my husband agreed to go on such a large ship was the possibility of loft 19 cabana. He loved the Havana on Horizon but would not be happy with this area on Mardis Gras. Personally I wouldn’t pay for a cabana if I already had a sweet balcony and could use the area for free. I am curious how much it was discounted? The only price I saw was the 2250 for the transatlantic which would be totally worth it considering everyday is a seaday?

I'm on the 12/11 sailing on the Celebration in an excel suite.  The offer popped up yesterday for $2250 for a cabana. We were on the Mardi Gras last year ( excel suite), we went up to loft 19 but didn't rent a cabana. I don't see the need for one.  They are not worth it.  If you have an excel suite you have a great balcony.

@Thenagers Thank you for the heads up. I’ll have to start watching closer. I do log in to see if they offer any cabin upsells so, I’ll have to keep an eye out for a Cabana. I saw  the cabanas were selling great for Grand Turk and Amber Cove. Guess everyone wants to splurge for Christmas. First I’ve seen on the price hike from $2000.

I am on a March 2023 Celebration sailing. A couple of weeks ago the 50th anniversary sale for cabanas for loft 19 showed up on my main page indicating sold out. Months ago I had linked a page that someone posted on this board for loft 19 cabanas. It had said sold out until a couple of weeks ago. All cabanas were available and I was able to book one for $1750. So I think what is showing on the current main page as sold out is probably an IT glitch. Here is the link that I used to actually book one. I have to be logged in for it to work. I am booked in an Excel suite.

We are in an excel suite this December on MG and got the pop up for a cabana about a week ago.  We wont get one as we can use the loft area without one and have the excel suite balcony with our cabin. I dont see the sense in paying extra for one as I do not believe we would utilize it sufficiently for the week.

I got this link to work for my April 1st cruise.  All 12 were open even though the banner about the 50th birthday sale said they were sold out.  Make sure leave the tab open for carnival already and are already signed in,  It took me to the booking page and you can pick your cabana. It did not work on my phone,  Just my chromebook.

Hey! I was able to prebook using the link below! Do it on a PC or chrome book. Sign into your carnival booking before hitting the link! Phone didn’t work! All 12 were open although the 50tg anniversary banner said sold out!

I sailed in an excel suite on the mardi gras.  No point in getting a cabana in that instance. There are loungers all around on the deck/Loft 19 that you can use including ones nearby the little pool/spa area.  The service is the same.  As an aside, I really wasn't blown away by the loft 19 area.  The Serenity area is really nice, though.  The pool/hot tub is really shallow. Sort of like a bath tub.

And to each his own, but I would be pretty put out if I paid $2k a week for one of the cabanas in the Loft 19 area.  The one thing I DID think was worth the money, though, was getting the aft corner excel suite with its own hot tub on the balcony. The balcony and room were huge and really nice.  No point in really leaving it, frankly. The view was better, too.

Understand why you wouldn’t purchase one, but for us, when in a balcony, they provide a much appreciated respite from the crowds.  I like having a dedicated space, service team, and bottle of champagne every morning.  And someone to bring me my lunch. For me, having a hot tub on my balcony is not worth $4,000.  That’s the great thing about it, we all get to choose how to spend our money, or not. Some are perfectly satisfied to be on a lower deck in an interior cabin. Not for me but good for them.

I'd be even more put out if I paid $2k for the cabana and then realized that Loft 19 isn't even adults only. I do not understand what Carnival was thinking with that...
