Wilda Posted November 6, 2022 #1 Share Posted November 6, 2022 (edited) Hi all- will be cruising next year in Greece & was told that the muster drill has been changed (yeah!!) Can someone please tell me how the new drill works? Also, any other new changes...been over 2 years since I was on a cruise ship! And it will be our first as Diamond so I am aware of the 4 drink vouchers being loaded onto the Sea Pass card. Thanks! retiredgram Posted November 7, 2022 #5 Share Posted November 7, 2022 This is copied from my edocs: Mandatory Safety Briefing All guests must attend the mandatory safety briefing (also known as: Muster/Assembly Drill) and follow all health and safety instructions issued by the Captain as part of the mandatory safety announcements. Upon embarkation, guests will have a window of several hours during which they must (a) review essential safety information and (b) report to their designated muster station. On certain vessels, guests are encouraged to use our patented eMuster™ system which allows for the review of essential safety information by viewing a safety video via our mobile app or stateroom myTV interactive systems (applicable ships). Guests who do not complete the safety video portion of the muster requirements via eMuster™, or who are otherwise unable to review essential safety information upon embarkation, will be required to participate in a brief safety presentation upon arrival at their designated muster station. The mobile guest application is available for free from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
Vacation...Yes Posted November 7, 2022 #6 Share Posted November 7, 2022 Super easy now: watch the videos on the app prior to boarding. They will be marked completed after review. Report to your assigned Munster station, they will confirm you watched them, ask if you have any questions & swipe your seapass card… took only 2 minutes last week on Symphony
3CatsInMA Posted November 7, 2022 #7 Share Posted November 7, 2022 We've never watched the videos. Just a quick stop at the muster station and done!
irishgal432 Posted November 7, 2022 #8 Share Posted November 7, 2022 Make sure they scan your card. There are people directing you to the muster and some people think they are finished and then have to be found because they thought they had did it. This happened to a couple on my last cruise. Guest services found them when they swiped their card for a drink and escorted them to the muster. They had already been but had not had their cards swiped. Vacation...Yes Posted November 7, 2022 #10 Share Posted November 7, 2022 Herman for sure. Omg, that’s hilarious…didn’t even realize I did that. My husband and I always joke about that on our cruises and call it Munster station as we often watch The Munsters reruns…thanks for the laugh🤣

I like yours better!
3CatsInMA Posted November 7, 2022 #12 Share Posted November 7, 2022 I'm glad nobody got cheesy and called a Muenster station.
