I raised my bets as the pit boss approached the table and reduced it as he moved on. When I checked my rating later, it showed my average bet was much higher than I usually bet and my table time was much longer than I actually played. Maybe not true in the very small ship casinos but it was in the large casino when I played.

It is possible that you fooled the pit boss by increasing your bets when he was watching, but I have seen a supervisor ask the dealer about a player's bet size instead of relying what the boss personally observed -- they are on to this strategy! And the casino is very aware of increases in bet size, because they are looking for card counters, who increase and decrease the bet based on the count of the deck. A small variance, and progressive variances, they are not suspicious of, but if you increase your bets when the boss is watching, they will see that pattern. My wife and I arent big gamblers, couple hundred per cruise, but thats all cash so its not tracked. Maybe i should be using my ship account to gamble? thx I've never cruised on Celebrity but will in the near future on a casino offer, so my total spend has been 0 to date. Maybe you should include other cruise lines in your plans so they want to entice you to return?

Have you cruised Royal and if so, did you play in the casino at all? Perhaps royal gamblers is a source of some of these offers.

I do have a Celebrity cruise booked next year, and purchased a discounted slot tournament entry for that, which I think is a more likely source.

When I check my W/L balance sheet at MGM Rewards (MLife) it is completely correct including table games. They know exactly how much I bet, up to the dollar.
