Another question about 10% elite excursion credit

I know if I book an excursion, I get 10% back as onboard credit.  

 

If I book for someone else (same room), do I also get the onboard credit?  Hey, I'm cheap and want to know!

My understanding is that any Elite member gets the ten percent discount OBC. So if your cabin mate is also Elite they would also get it.

Don't know if this will help.  I went back to look at my folio from last March when we used Princess excursions.  We are both elite and it certainly looks like that is known by the system.

 

The folio has two sections (one for the account holder and the other for the authorized user) and the excursion payments and discounts are listed separately.

Husband and I are Elite and we both got the excursion discount.

I am Elite and cabin mate is Platinum.  I book and pay for both of us for the excursions.  The Elite 10% Excursion Discount only shows up on my account. .

If the other person you book the excursion for is Elite, the 10% discount will be put on that person's on board account, not yours even if you did the booking.
