Slot machines on celebrity reflection

Last year on Reflection, there was one slot machine I liked that gave good payouts when the casino opened on sea days.  I may be wrong, but I think the random number generators may be programmed for certain times of day when play is slow.  Or, I may have just been very lucky on that cruise.

3? 5? 8? It's not inconceivable that the machines are completely different.

Celebrity is notorious for not updating ANY of their slot machines in their casinos, even after renovations, unlike Carnival who will completely renovate their casinos with new slot machines, table games, chairs, etc even on their oldest ships and even before touching any other part of the ship. They know the money invested in the casino is well returned.

I've wondered what the payout is, or if there even is one.  I think in Vegas they have to post them or have to have a certain min. payout, right?  (As you can tell, I don't gamble.  But I went to vegas for the magic shows a couple of times.)

This week they were putting a new row of machines on the reflection.

Various datapoints believe it's 75%-85% PayBack while Vegas is closer to 90%.  I'm not a slot player yet occasionally earn from matched/free play that's valid only for slots and never win anything close.  Just off a carnival ship, had $200 in slot free play, played it and walked away with a cool $33; my payback was 16.5% 🤔
