And in that regard, yes, the best comedians are on Carnival. 😂

We last saw him on a Princess Alaska cruise in the summer of 2012. He was unforgettable. Others have come close but none have surpassed him on our cruises (mostly on Princess).

Joebucks Posted December 31, 2022 #29 Share Posted December 31, 2022 It is hard to remember the names, as there are so many of them. It's not a special event. I can count on one hand the number of comedians I did not find funny. Most of them have been very good. What brought me to my first Carnival cruise was wanting to see Jay Leno live. He was great!

dolittle Posted January 1, 2023 #31 Share Posted January 1, 2023 Can not believe no one has brought up the piano playing flamboyant British funny man that was on X for many years (can not remember his name ) while not everyone's ''cup of tea'' he was very funny.

Before Covid he switched to Princess and I remember the many postings from upset Celebrity cruisers who said they would leave Celebrity to follow him. Little did I know that one of his first Princess gigs was on a cruise we had booked. Not our cup of tea but his followers were legion and obviously enjoying themselves. We happened to ride the elevator with him a couple of times and he was very personable to everyone. I don't know if he is still with Princess (definitely not on the two cruises we did in 2022).

The first time I saw him I thought ''I have seen this guy somewhere before'' It hit me later it was in Epcot(wearing a women's dress hat) in the early 90s at the English pub my wife say's I am dreaming . The second time my wife see's him he talks about his stint at Epcot and says him and Disney were not a good match.
