but so much easier to just take the bus. Less luggage handling, etc.

We need to go from the Amsterdam Marriott to the Rotterdam Marriott.  Will a bus be easy for us? Do you have the website for the bus?

The post you quote is about the cruise ships bus transfer to the airport on disembarking.

You will need to take the train https://www.ns.nl/en  or taxi or private car.

Intercity trains are still running every 30 minutes between Schiphol Airport and Schiedam Centrum, which is very close to Rotterdam.

From there you can either transfer to the Rotterdam Metro or take a cab to your accommodation.

Hi there,

Do these train tickets have to be validated once on the train?

Thank you,

Angela

No, not on the train. Your ticket will be checked by the automatic barriers at the station - or if you opt to pay by contactless card (which is cheaper), you touch your card on the barrier to get on and off the platform.

Has anyone just booked an uber for a ride from Schiphol airport to Rotterdam cruise port? if so what was the cost? Wonder if it would be more cost effective.
