Coming Soon - Crooners on Sky Princess?

Anyone heard about Bistro sur la Mer being replaced by Crooners in an upcoming dry dock? Just read this on a social media group and thought I’d mention here to ask whether people know anything more.

Hadn't heard that, but I'm not averse to it, providing it's done right. We like the Bistro, and usually eat there once or twice each trip (We were on the Sky in November  2021 and November 2022 and are back on her in three weeks) That being said, as much as we like the Bistro, we love Crooners much more and would be happy to have it back n its "usual" location on the Piazza.

 

My concern would be that Princess would make the Sky's new Crooners exactly the same as on the Enchanted, which would be a show stopper for us. We hated the layout on the Enchanted, too many sofas, interior partitions and strange, uncomfortable large high back chairs, with little provision for seating for couples.  We disliked the format so much we went to Take 5 instead. Just our opinion of course, let's hope Princess lay out a new Crooners as on the older ships.

We really enjoyed the Bistro, plus they'll be taking away a specialty dining option. I'm all in favor of Crooners, but...

I don’t like the Crooners on Discovery either. I feel like I’m in a hotel lobby or the food court at a mall. A nice mall, but still a mall.  I have the same issue with the Crown Grill Bar. I feel like it’s all too open to people walking  through that space. It’s like sitting in a hotel lobby or a train station.

 

Hoping the reports that Enchanted is getting a Vines and Sky is getting a Crooners are true.

I also heard it on social media-Crooners will replace the french restaurant and the wheelhouse will go outside the crouwn grill during April dry dock

Didn’t care for the bistro location for dining it would be much better place for a barbecue

Funny! I really do wish there was an option for late night/early morning breakfast. After the casino closes...

Yep, read the same thing.  And it was apparently the captain who relayed this during a gathering.  We shall see, the drydock is coming up soon.

Now if they would only replace the Salty Dog Pub on the Discovery and Enchanted with Vines!!!

Just curious, does anyone have any pictures Crooners on the Enchanted or Discovery?

 

EDIT: Never mind, I found pictures and I see what you folks mean.  I'm not crazy about the design either.

Not all ships have a pizza restaurant like Alfredo’s   I have only seen them on Royal class ships although in the past on the Coral they did do a full pie pizza deal a couple of times in Sabatini’s
