Casino Royale Offers - how far in advance are they available?

My in-laws get casino Royale free cruise offers frequently, and their current offers (they are US-based) go as far out as July. their offer sheet is titled "make it a week-long win-a-thon"

 

I would like to cruise with them in November. I was planning on having them book their free cruise, then I'll get our cabin on the same ship.

 

Obviously, I would like to book as far in advance as possible to save on cabin and airfare but also have the best selection of cabins (it's all relative, of course).

 

for those get casino Royale offers, when can they expect to get offers for November sailings?

Most of the offers tend to be closer in (like within the next 3-4 months), like when Royal knows what cruises are selling as well and they're willing to discount for gamblers.  They are sometimes further out, but I haven't noticed any rhyme or reason as to how often those offers come.

 

If they qualify for Prime or a higher tier, their free tier-level cruise can be scheduled further out.  And the onboard offers for a free cruise when you earn at least 2,500 points on a sailing can be up to a year out, but again it depends on what's not sailing well and they're willing to give away.

April 1st they can book their annual cruise which can be any 7 nights or less on any ship 1 year old or older. That would be the best bet for booking a November cruise.

they've already got a decent number of wonder of the seas dates to choose from (a few dates in May, June and July). 

 

otherwise, they would sail on allure. we are thinking a week or 2 before thanksgiving to try to have a "less popular time" but again, we are rely on their offers before choosing a cruise. their next cruise is later this month.....

 

I think they are "higher rollers" since they go every 3-4 months. 

 

also, do you guys ever see alaskan cruises as comp'ed cruises. we are wanting to go to Alaska in late 2024 on ovation/quantum..... it'd be nice for the in-laws to come along (to help out with toddlers), but not necessary.

Very rarely. I searched my email and the last offer that included Alaska was in April 2022.  But they could use their free annual tier cruise for a 7-day Alaskan cruise.

I cannot recall Alaska being offered, but we live in Alaska, so I might have just mentally ignored it.

My wife got us a casino comp cruise to Alaska on Ovation the last week of this past August.  She got the offer sheet on Navigator in March.  The sheet had dates for the beginning and end of the season, nothing for the peak months.  I think the week we went was the first week available on the tail end of the season.

You don't have to be "high rollers" to get comped cruises. Royal is fairly generous with their comps.

 

In the past, Casino Royale has offered Alaska, but not since the restart.

There have been some comp Alaska cruises since the restart, but not nearly as plentiful as Caribbean itineraries, which I seem to get multiple times a week.

I finally started getting offers after years of cruising.  So far it's been complimentary for me with a "special rate" for my guest.  But what if I want to go solo?  Does anyone have experience with this?

I always go solo. Same process, just say 1 guest when you book so you only get charged one set of port charges. And you'll get double points.

This is no longer the case, this year they have started doing basically BOGO offers.  If it does not say complimentary room for two, and instead says "1 COMPLIMENTARY GUEST IN DOUBLE OCCUPANCY"  that means your fare is free, but you will have to pay the second fare, regardless if you take another guest or not.

 

We try to avoid these offers, I definitely would not use one on a solo trip.

We started getting these offers in the mail almost every week after the first time we went into the casino.  We still get them on a weekly basis.  

 

Question:  Are both of your parents getting offers?  If so, they can actually use one offer each, book one cabin for one of them and one of you, and then book a second cabin for the other one of them and the other one of you.  We do this all the time. For clarification, we just booked a cruise through the casino.  I booked a cabin with my offer for me and my mother (who is not a Casino Royale member), and my husband booked a separate cabin with his offer for him and my dad (again, not a Casino Royale member).  You just get extra keys at Guest Services so you can swap cabins and everyone can get into theirs.  We have done this four times.
