UnMe4ever2gether Posted February 15, 2023 #1 Share Posted February 15, 2023 We are cruising for the first time on Princess January 2024. Is Princess more of an adult cruise, or will there be children onboard?

Rare Rick&Jeannie Posted February 15, 2023 #3 Share Posted February 15, 2023 Yes, we need a bit more info to better answer your question. You will generally *always* see at least a few kids on board...but itineraries such as Alaska or Caribbean (depending on school terms, of course) you will many more younger folks. Rare cr8tiv1 Posted February 15, 2023 #4 Share Posted February 15, 2023 (edited) It’s a January 2924 cruise. My guess is Caribbean. One 3 day weekend. OP is from Florida. Probably not many kids. Home schooled? Love a good mystery. I agree, speculations at best, unless OP returns with more information. MissP22 Posted February 15, 2023 #5 Share Posted February 15, 2023 If it's not a New Years cruise then expect few children to be aboard.

skynight Posted February 15, 2023 #7 Share Posted February 15, 2023 Schools in session? Not many children. Holiday cruise, such as Christmas, New Year, Presidents week way more families. Even with limited children on board a 7 day or less cruise will have more children and families on board than longer cruises. Princess does not have all the youth hardware like the have on some other lines. No water slides, surfing, bumper cars, rock walls, skating rinks and so on. Princess does have an age tiered youth center. You can find information by searching on line. Princess' entertainment is family friendly.

That's a warning to all: Do not attempt to respond to posts early in the morning with an iPad and your eyes half shut. Thank you for pointing this out. Probably not too many families with children. Schools are generally in session across the country at this time.

Families with younger kids will also be present.
