Usually have to be out of cabins by 8am at the latest.

But you can ask your steward if you can store your hand luggage in the wardrobe and collect it after breakfast, which will save you taking it to breakfast with you.

We had to be at our meeting point for 7.45 and with the MDR not open before 7am ,we would have had a rush and been clock watching .

As we were up, we were in the buffet for 5.45 and had a cuppa and fruit and cereals that they were just putting out. This left us loads of spare time and there was only one other guy sat having a drink when we were in there .

Plenty of time to go clear our safe and collect all our bags from our cabin .
