Transportation Options from Montreal port to YUL.

I am interested in learning about various transportation options that we can use to go from Zaandam to YUL airport on April 29.   And interested in approximate costs.  We will be flying on AA to Charlotte about 2:30 PM that day.

You can take the 747 bus to YUL.

It is a bit of a walk getting from the quay to the route 747 bus . . . so you might want to use the route 715 shuttle between the two. Alas, it does not operate very often, only once every half hour.

A variety of options:

1.  Hoof it into the city centre and take 747 bus (lots of uphill walking and about $25 for two);

2.  Hoof it part way into city centre, take subway then transfer to 747 (about $30 for two);

3.  Take local bus 715 to connect with 747 bus (minimal walking but bus transfer required, about $30 for two);

4.  Take a taxi from cruise port to YUL (no walking, no tranfers, no waiting for bus connections and minimal luggage handling - less than $50 for two).  Just do it.

I think the closest location to buy ticket to get on the 747 bus is the closest subway stop.

Which is a 10 min walk $11 for the entire day in the transit system

747 is a good option if you plan on visiting and then finish with transfer to yul

If not. I would just take a cab is fixed rate $50

When we did that several years ago we used the HAL transfer.  We were glad we did, because as it turned out, the ship could not go all the way to Montreal, and we docked further downstream. The bus transfer took an hour or so; a taxi would have cost a fortune. And we saw no taxis at that port, just the chartered buses.
