Rare Sailing12Away Posted March 4, 2023 #7 Share Posted March 4, 2023 Tour is only for latitudes guests that have reached status. Not sure of the paid one of there is an age limit. Tour is running on the Joy right now.

Somehow my husband and I have accumulated a different number of latitude points, even though we were on the same cruises in the same stateroom each time.. I was platinum; he wasn't . Only I could go on the tour. then there was Covid. This next cruise, we'll be sure to sign up for the tour.

When I did it on the Star last week, there were 5-6 flights of stairs involved. For example, it was 3 flights from the theater stage up to the dressing rooms. Ha ha, yes, I was going to ask for the kids menu but didn't think he could pass for 12.😉 It was a disappointing tour, theater, laundry and brief kitchen stop with 2 groups of 15 each and lasted less than 45 minutes. I had done 2 quite a few years ago and saw a lot more.

The tour involves moving up and down narrow, steep crew stairs and in small spaces. While they will allow passengers to use crew elevators, you are likely going to be playing "catch up" with the rest of the group. The Platinum tour typically includes the theater dressing rooms, [sometimes] provisioning freezers, laundry, and galley.
