Everyone's best will be different but here are some things to think about. Lower decks are better if you're prone to sea sickness, and closer to the Piazza area which has entertainment, food and drinks. The higher decks are closer to the Lido area which has pools, entertainment, food and drinks. Or try and choose a deck in the middle of those two for easy access to both and it will be quieter, with cabins above & below you.
Rare startedwithamouse Posted March 17, 2023 #3 Share Posted March 17, 2023 The back will be prone to a fishtail motion in some waters. can you get a mid-ship on a middle or lower deck? It's close to everything and quiet.
Sea Hag Posted March 17, 2023 #4 Share Posted March 17, 2023 Try to choose a cabin with cabins above and below you, rather than one of the common areas on the ship.

Crystabel Posted March 17, 2023 #8 Share Posted March 17, 2023 I can’t personally vouch for this information, but I’ve read that some people on CC say the inside sideways cabins seem roomier than the others.
moodyb1 Posted March 17, 2023 #9 Share Posted March 17, 2023 We love the inside sideways cabins. They are roomier than the regular inside cabins. However, they are on the upper decks.
datone Posted March 18, 2023 #10 Share Posted March 18, 2023 We had an inside sideways on Sapphire Princess and loved it. Was under the pool deck but we never had any issues with noise. It is the only type of inside where we will have a Queen bed rather than twin beds.
Moondogy Posted March 18, 2023 #11 Share Posted March 18, 2023 We love inside cabins (Great for those afternoon naps for us old folks 🤣) the only thing I had against the sideways one was when I get up at 4:30am and try to leave to let DW sleep, the light would shine right in her eyes. As far as being bigger, I didn't see any difference. Just my 2 cents worth (which is all I can afford).
