tx121 Posted April 4, 2023 #1 Share Posted April 4, 2023 Hey All, We will be sailing on the Wonder of the Seas on April 23rd. Beforehand we will be vacationing at Disney and staying at the Caribbean Beach resort. We would like to know how others have traveled from Disney to Port Canaveral. It seems like most shuttles pick up from the airport and then head to Port Canaveral. The cheapest one way ticket from the airport is $20-30 per person from the airport to the cruise terminal. If we went from Disney resort to the airport, it is about $45 plus $40-60 for shuttle to port Canaveral. $85-105 for the trip. We would like to know if there may be other options or less travel time. Thanks in advance!
Celialeah98 Posted April 4, 2023 #2 Share Posted April 4, 2023 Depending upon the number of people you are traveling with we have rented a car for the day. You would have to check costs to pick up at Disney and drop off at Cocoa beach ( next to port Canaveral) We would drop everyone off at cruise ship terminal then driver would take car to drop off and shuttle back. We have also rented a car to pick up at Cocoa beach after cruise and drop off at airport. There were 5 passengers. So rental car was cheapest option. But this was back in 2010. We have also arranged for a private shuttle service in Orlando. Pick up at hotel take to ship then pick up at ship and drop off at airport Not sure who is still operating. You would need to google. StanleyandGus Posted April 4, 2023 #3 Share Posted April 4, 2023 We used Cruise Control transportation last month, for pickup at the Boardwalk Villas to Port Canaveral.

SUPER easy, but if you get there too early you'll be waiting until the cruise line tells them they can shuttle people over. The hours make it seem like they're only open during cruise days. Capt_BJ Posted April 5, 2023 #5 Share Posted April 5, 2023 (edited) there are three locations for Enterprise in the general port area The Mullet Rd location is on port property. This is a shared office with National and Alamo - they share a shuttle as well. This is a somewhat new location - they MOVED from Cocoa Beach (A1A) to here a couple of years ago. Note there is a Cocoa location .... Cocoa and Cocoa Beach are completely different towns . . . Edited April 5, 2023 by Capt_BJ

LeeW Posted April 14, 2023 #7 Share Posted April 14, 2023 Rent a car the day before either at Disney or Avis at the Hilton across from Disney Springs. Dropoff in Cape Canaveral. No one-way surcharges in Florida.
xcell Posted April 14, 2023 #8 Share Posted April 14, 2023 Rent (I think disney has a rental car in the park or close by), uber or shutte... as other responders have mentioned, depends on how many, how much luggage, etc... all from the resort -- no need to shuttle to the airport
