HAL does your cabin level on ship affect the land portion?

Land first.  Does the cabin level, suite vs balcony, that you book, change the quality of hotel room or seat on the train, that you are assigned?  HAL Noordam.

Ship operations are tour operations are completely separate.  Hotel rooms are generic is most cruise line hotels.

@mrbucky Good question and I’m sure a lot pf people want to know!  

 

Your room classification on the ship is ship only!  You can upgrade your accommodations at the Holland America McKinley Chalet Resort in Denali if you want to pay for it. Check with HAL for upgrades.   The quality of the HAL Denali overnight  experience varies from rustic cabins to hotel type rooms, all assigned randomly.

I believe that Navigator Suites get priority disembarking for excursions, at least that’s what their website says. Don’t know how it plays out in reality.

Navigator Suites on HAL? I guess you mean Neptune Suites. Yes, they do, and it applies to tender ports. Not to the land tour hotels.
