Hopefully the passenger will be ok.

@DaKahuna, if you have an opportunity and a break from extracting money from the ship's casino, I would appreciate it if you would post the pages for Celebrity Today for today.

I can't understand those. Yesterday I got a Gold Spin Deluxe, it landed on 1100 credits and still only paid 180 so I moved on.

I got the Gold Spin.  The first time it landed on 7X and the second spin landed on 700.  I had a couple of smallers ones before that.

did five spins without a win after hitting 700 and cashed out.

The Vegetarian Pancit your wife ordered looks fantastic. Is that on the regular menu in Luminae, or the vegetarian menu?

it is on the regular menu.  This is the second time this cruise she’s had it.  She says it has egg but no meat so not vegan.

It does taste good.  I had a bite or two of it.

Just now, Fly and Sail said:

Why does this stop take so long? The captain said they'd just transfer the sick passenger, yet we're still here.

The med team came, went ashore again, returned and it appears the passenger is now on the way to shore. We are underway.

We had some ‘guest’ while at the harbor entrance and the ship was doing the passenger transfer.

So per the captain, we won't make it to Puerto Vallarta before 9 am tomorrow. That might have implications for some people on excursions. When were we supposed to get there originally??

Gangway down: 9:30am

Gangway up: 2:30pm

This will be a VERY short stop.

I believe it was initially 0700 for arrival.  Didn’t Captain mention two hours later being 0900?

See, I keep telling you there’s little value in those except for those on board at that particular day and even then it’s still not 100% reflective of what’s happening 🙂

Now it's getting interesting. Oceanview Cafe changed its sanitation protocol, no more self-service and self pickup of plates.

Several cabins are marked with a yellow sticker/postit above the cabin and constantly sprayed with disinfectant from the outside (you can see the residue). Also, room service is piling up in front of their doors.

Four more days to go! 🙂

I don't like a combination of many (bad) signs including a missing cabin steward for 2+ days.

Or Omicron XBB.1.16 which has more traditional flu-like symptoms several passengers have been complaining about.

No reason to suspect Norovirus, but these isolation cases look a bit concerning. I doubt that those are part of a preparation for an inspection by health officials.

Good point. That is probably one of the reasons why we had a brief stop in Acapulco this morning.

Although if it was just a minor case of Covid etc they could have let them off tomorrow morning rather than diverting the whole ship, so no need to read more into it. Remember the recent changes to the cruise contract?
