evandbob Posted April 24, 2023 #26 Share Posted April 24, 2023 (edited) Conch is popular with local men in the Bahamas: Is conch a natural *****? Like all foods of the sea, conch is considered an aphrodisiac. This seductive seafood was important to native cultures throughout the early history of the Americas. Its meat, considered aphrodisiac to most of its early enthusiasts, was enjoyed for its sweet, clean flavor. Rare VMax1700 Posted April 24, 2023 #27 Share Posted April 24, 2023 Eat it with a few beers. If you get sick then you can blame the beer. 🍻
Charles4515 Posted April 24, 2023 #28 Share Posted April 24, 2023 We had some at a shack on the pier in Grand Turk. They were bringing it up from the ocean off the pier and frying it right away. Delicious.

Never again. How did it compare with gas station sushi?

I really like lobster and clams, not so much snails, and cannot stomach crabs and squid — they all taste VERY differently to me.
