We leave soon on Beyond(4/23); beautiful day and warm!  Southern route to Azores!  Did you check in with Mother Nature first?  I did, but she seemed pre-occupied at the moment...😜

Wishing you smooth sailing!  Weather today on the Connie is beautiful...low 60s and mostly sunny...but we are rolling around a bitScreenshot_20230423-110629.thumb.png.f33b4ada24832ff1fedd092595f1ed3f.pngScreenshot_20230423-110403.thumb.png.d03db3bd3bac89a562054c98518ca54d.png

Currently a day out of Bermuda.    Yesterday was as smooth as glass 78 degrees and mostly sunny.  We did have a very light drizzle for an hour around 11:00 AM.   At about 9 we started picking up some winds and the we are picking up some light swells.

This morning we have a slight roll - Winds Calm at about 3-5 Knots and we seem to be in a sweet spot.  temps cooling to 66-70 and  seas 5 feet swells

Curious -- is Mother Nature a Fox weather forecast.   That's what google pops up.   I'm not familiar with the site.

Update from the Connie..we are 3 days east of Bermuda, in the middle of the Atlantic.  Wind is from the west so condition on top decks are great, not windy at all.  We are also riding with the swells so the barf bags that were in the stairwells have been put away and the outdoor pool is open again.Screenshot_20230424-110416.thumb.png.d49c1dfa8a130b7546ec768bc6a0b5c2.pngScreenshot_20230424-110435.thumb.png.545b52a57c237101b84e0c66b35d38d0.pngScreenshot_20230424-110756.thumb.png.f9d01deb4555401b3acf21bbc66a14c2.png

Nope; just the real “Mother Nature” that controls everything🥰.  I love it when she is kind❤️

Ahhh.. understand.... Yup.... out side all day.   Actually the sees are very calm, sunny and winds are mild.

So many people want hard data on temps and what type of clothing they might need...also some worry that the seas may be too rough

we were in Bermuda.  Temps 65~68.  In afternoon got some light drizzle

Seas were smooth 1-2 feet

As we head out on 6 days at sea weather looks like it will deteriorate.

As an aside I suffer from migraines and my main trigger is when a low pressure front moves in.   Suddenly at 8pm I had a feeling and ran back to room to get my meds.  I have about a 15 minute window.   Caught it in time and of course Iain said why didn’t you have one on you.  I checked Windy and sure enough    Sure enough low right over us pulling in the winds and seas will be picking up.  Waves to increase overnight from 1-3 ft to 7-9 feet.

That would be fun.  I say your location close by and caught up when we spent day in Bermuda

Current Location - Started heading on a North Easterly path to Cobh.   Anyone on Silhouette with a forecast -  Stateroom attendant just let us know he will have to bring all our furniture into room tonight due to impending rough seas and high winds.    Now I need to do some research.

Currently not overly windy and 3-5 foot seas as expected.

We are currently on day 8 of our crossing aboard the Silhouette.  Since leaving Bermuda 4 days ago, it's been very cold and raining quite a bit and the wind has been strong to the point that all exterior decks have been closed to passengers.  It's been rocking and rolling non-stop, but not bad from a seasoned cruiser's perspective.  Here's a little video I just captured from our sunset veranda stateroom.  I would have stepped outside to take a better video, but our veranda floor is sopping wet.
