Oasis Balloons

I've seen videos of balloons strapped to the ceiling when you get on board Oasis. What time are those dropped and is this every night or just the first night?

 

We will be cruising over New Year's Eve so do they do an additional balloon drop that night also?

Any kind of balloon drop is very sailing specific and certainly don't count on that, other than perhaps on New Year.

So we’ve sailed the Allure and Harmony over the last couple of months, and on both ships there was a balloon drop on the first night just as the welcome aboard party comes to its conclusion.

I was on Oasis recently. I did not attend but the balloon drop was listed in the app for midnight the first night followed by the “The Big Recycle Balloon Pickup” at 12:05.

It was around 10:00 p.m. on Explorer the first night.

First night on Oasis at midnight for every sailing

Just off Oasis and the balloon drop is midnight on the 1st day.

We've been on several NYE cruises and all of them had a balloon drop on NYE.

That was listed on a recent Mariner compass and app as well.  Made me laugh.

 

I see new activities in the future.....  bedmaking 101 and buffet cleanup.
