Made a Casino booking but the ref is invalid

Recommended Posts

Made a booking this morning with the casino helpdesk, the ref I was given does not link and I didn't not receive the booking email- is this normal, or do I have to call back to get it sorted.  They took payment and I see it pending on my account

Casino bookings take a while to process.  They must go through a reconciliation process to accurately reflect the pricing.  It can sometimes take a day or more before the booking actually gets published.  Have you tried the “add a booking” (or whatever it says) to you list of current cruises ?  If it seems to add your booking but then the booking still doesn’t appear in your “list” - don’t worry.  Just give it time.  It will show up eventually.

Casino bookings don’t take that long to process. I have booked over a dozen “free” casino cruises this year on the phone. Every time, without exception, the Casino Royale representative asked me to verify I received an e-mail with the booking information before ending the call.

Hmm called back, got the right ref- tried to link it, says it's linked but no cruse is showing in my planner, V odd!

Log out and then back in or try to see it in the app.

Well rang again. 1.5h on hold. Apparently the booking was not finalised or something the lady did that and then boom 6 booking confirmations came through and it was all linked on-line.

Assume the casino hold times are so long as everyone is booking the annual prime voucher. It took me almost 30 min to make the booking which Is mad and no wonder hold times are so bad

Correct....I have has several times where my casino booking wouldn't show up till the next day. The reservation is created...you will get a reservation # and confirm e-mail...but it wouldn't show up in the planner usually till the next day.

There have also been a lot of new casino offers the last few weeks, which is likely adding to the time it takes to reach a representative.

I just experienced this yesterday. It took me 4 days to get thru to a Casino rep. The callback system is a terrible joke at best. It Did take about 3 hours for my new cruise to show up in the Planner/App. I got email with booking number right away but again it did not show immediately
