For us, the £50 deposit is the biggest selling point; not much to lose if we find a better deal nearer to the cruise.

OK good.  Sailing in October, so will see what's on offer.

We have had the £50 deposit on saver fare when booking onboard, on our last cruise we also got double onboard credit but only on select which made select cheaper than saver in real terms.
