Help - Where can I buy an iPhone cable onboard

Hello,

 

I have a friend on the Norwegian Escape at the moment and her iPhone lightning cable isn’t working.  They have been told no where sells them on board, didn’t sound right to me. Any idea if anywhere sells them on board?

Maybe at the photo shop. I've never seen these for sale on board.

I've looked but haven't seen a lightening for sale on board.

Three suggestions.

1.  Change outlet she's using.  Might not be the cable.

2.  See if guest services can loan her one or even charge her phone.

3.  Try to buy at her next port.

Try lost and found/Guest Services? I know a lot of hotels have cables that have been left behind by previous guests, maybe cruise lines do as well.

Im sure there must be a store at a port stop?  Suggenstion if all else fails.

Long shot but have a word with one of the entertainment team, I won a power bank with lovely flat cable that has a flip end that does either Lightning or micro USB. You can't buy them, they only give hem away.
You don't of course need to use this cable with the power bank as it plugs into any USB.

Is there a Roll Call for the cruise?  I've seen people successfully post their needs on CC or other social media groups.

Ooh I was excited to try to get one of these power banks as one of the activity prizes, but on my sailing they only had beach bags, t-shirts, and coffee mugs. Oh well. 

 

There are thousands of people on board that have this cable, and many of them travel with multiples. And every single one of them is familiar with this situation! Next time your friend is at a bar and sees someone using an iPhone next to them, I would strike up a conversation and see what happens.

Try that. It has happened to us when one USB outlet wasn't working but another one was working.

Remember, I believe on Escape you must have a card in the slot by the door to energize any of the outlets.

They don’t sell them on board, I know I tried to find one this spring.

Lost and found and post on your cruise roll call or facebook I always have multiple cables.

 

I have a couple of these they can also see if anyone has a wireless charger, or if they have an Android phone they can do wireless powershare the android phone can charge the iphone wirelessly!
