Big changes in excursion prices 2023 Eclipse South America

I hadn’t noticed this until recently.  I had made my excursion bookings.  We’re traveling with friends and they pointed out some better pricing.  But they didn’t notice that some prices went up as well as down.

 

An excursion is $100 pp today then $150 tomorrow.  Maybe even more when it goes “on sale”.  Celebrity has to make money but this is strange.

We found on our SA sailing last March that excursion prices went up dramatically as time went on.  Yes there was a "sale" with 35% off at one time where we were able to rebook at lower prices but prices before we booked were quite a bit lower than that.

There was a Memorial Day sale where they were supposed to have 35% off of most excursions.  However many excursions were overpriced and many were underpriced.  The sale went until about midnight on Tuesday.  Several hours before the sale was to end most of the excursions ended up being priced correctly with 35% off sale price.

 

I noticed one that was $100 today and $2400 on sale with a 35% discount.  LOL

Unfortunately for Eclipse in January almost every excursion shows sold out.

So pricing seems to now be a moot point.

And no apparent way to be waitlisted.

Which sailing did you check?  Mine is 12/23 - 1/7?
