GrammieK Posted June 23, 2023 #3 Share Posted June 23, 2023 Oh…wasn’t sonu fabulous? He was our butler on the riviera in February. We renewed our vows in privee and Sonu escorted me to the ceremony. He certainly made our cruise special. k🛳 1

Heartfelttraveler Posted June 23, 2023 #5 Share Posted June 23, 2023 We have stayed in Oceania Suites on deck 11 stern on two occasions. In New York our requested six bottles of alcohol/wine were waiting for us. In Tahiti, they were brought to our suite after departure. If Oceania suite amenities have not changed, save a little extra room in your suitcase for the included Oceania swag. Also, we did the cooking class and both my husband and I enjoyed it very much. 1
Rare the more ports the better Posted June 24, 2023 #6 Share Posted June 24, 2023 We get a choice of liquor and wine. Six bottles. We order one Jack, one Grey Goose and 4 bottles of wine. It’s more than enough and we usually bring most of the liquor home. 1

We’ve always received a terry cloth O beach bag filled with the following… 2 fluffy O beach towels O hat O visor assorted sun products We’ve also received a gift box of Bulgari products. The gift box was much larger preCovid, but it’s still a great gift! enjoy! k🛳 1
Hambagahle Posted June 30, 2023 #10 Share Posted June 30, 2023 First time we sailed on Oceania we had an Oceania Suite on Riviera. (Prior to that we had sailed in a Seven Seas Aft and PH A suites on Regent). We were overjoyed with the Oceania Suite. We were on deck 12 - it was absolutely fabulous. The only negative I have is that the balcony is "tight" - hard to move around the end of the chaise longue. Subsequently we have been in the Owners Suite and Vista suite both on Riviera. Owners Suite is huge but the balconies are not...too much heavy furniture in too little space. Vista suite was perfection for us. You do need to be on a port-intensive cruise because the balcony is not always usable when at sea. Nor can you have any light out on the balcony when the ship is underway because it affects visibility from the Bridge. Port intensive is therefore perfect. Use the balcony any time until you sail and next morning - back out on the balcony. It also has a huge bathroom and a smaller one. Very useful. We are now booked on Vista in the Mediterranean in a Vista suite and can't wait. But the Oceania Suite, though smaller is really lovely...

Since I do not have a TA, should this guy be able to send me the list to select my 6 bottles, or do I wait until we board?

It looks amazing and I hope it lives up to the expectations..... I am sure that you will love the suite as much as we do! We especially like the two Deck 11 aft rooms. Have never been in an OS on Deck 12 since we like Deck 11 so much. We always found a list when we arrived that let us choose what we wanted. As someone else said, we usually take 1, maybe 2 Vodkas and the rest is wine for dinners. If no one has yet said, you can take the wine to dinner without having to pay the corkage fee. But the hard stuff needs to be consumed in the room. Have a wonderful cruise!
Hambagahle Posted July 18, 2023 #17 Share Posted July 18, 2023 We get about the same "mix" but use the wine when we "order in" - which you can do in the top level suites from any restaurant any evening. After a long day's sightseeing there is nothing better than dinner from Red Ginger with a bottle of Chardonnay from the Suite bar and no hassle at all!!
